Despite losses to Magnetic North Steelcats 47-42, North Coast Marlins 51-42 and Whitsunday Sharks 49-44, coach Zoe Seibold saw positives from Gladstone's Yasmin Ramsay.

"Yasmin is progressing on her circle defence and seeing some good results on court and combining nicely with Rebecca Hall," she said. Seibold said games against second-placed Steelcats and Sharks were the best chances of wins.

"We got ourselves in a position to take the game against the Steelcats where we got within three points with four-minutes remaining in the final quarter," she said.

"(It was) similar situation in the Sharks game on Sunday where we came back from being eight goals down in last quarter to get within one goal with four minutes left in the last quarter."
