Country girls vie for title

MISS Country Girl Australia opened its regional heats at Stockland, Gladstone, yesterday, with the girls coming from across the region to compete for the coveted title.

Heats one and two were judged yesterday with both the heat three winners and the finalists being announced tonight. The girls, who were dressed by Rockmans, Best and Less, The Bag Shop and many others throughout Kin Kora, strutted their stuff on the catwalk for judges Kathy Corones and Kellie Blinco.

The judges had a hard time choosing just five girls from each heat for the finals but are set to have the hardest decision yet when they choose a final winner tonight.

To get among all the excitement and support your local Gladstone girls you can head down to Stockland, Gladstone, tonight for heat three starting at 3pm and the finals at 6pm.
