Countdown is on to Rally Australia

THE countdown is on to the biggest sporting event ever seen in our region and The Advocate is now an official partner.

Rally Australia Coffs Harbour, from September 8-11, will focus millions of television viewers, from 186 countries, on the Coffs Harbour, Bellingen, Nambucca and Clarence Valley shires.

“The Advocate’s support has been terrific already, we are very excited to have the paper officially on board as the momentum keeps building,” said Rally Australia general manager Michael Masi.

“With just 47 days to go, the countdown is well and truly on.”

The Advocate is the only officially endorsed print media partner and will offer exclusive Rally Australia prizes for readers including family passes to this exciting four-day event and the chance to win a ride in a rally car.

In addition, we will play a key role in attracting visitors to the region with 200,000 copies of a 16-page feature inserted into the highest circulating newspapers from the Gold Coast to Newcastle in three weeks’ time.

We will also be publishing the official, full gloss, 56-page Rally Australia program which will be offered free to Advocate readers during race week.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Coffs Harbour and I am delighted we will play an important role in what we believe will be a massive boost for our region,” said the Advocate’s general manager, Brent Rees.

“As our masthead now says, ‘we can’t wait’.
