Council vehicles involved in nine accidents this year

NINE Gladstone Regional Council vehicles have been in traffic accidents since the start of the year.

The most expensive accident was on the May 5.

The details of the accident explain the driver swerved to miss a child on a push bike and hit a bollard. The repairs cost $5,716.58.

Two vehicles had damage to the left bumpers after one hit a small animal and another hit a brick wall.

Both cost more than $1000 to be repaired.

Two accidents involved third parties and are currently being processed by insurance companies. Two are yet to be repaired, one had no damage and the other 6 cost a total of $15,549.
