Council accepts tender for asphalt and resealing work

GLADSTONE Regional Council accepted a tender his week for asphalt and resealing works under its regional road network resurfacing program.

Council's Engineering Services portfolio spokesperson Councillor Rick Hansen said the contract areas include roads or sections of roads rated as high priority, that have been inspected and deemed suitable for the relevant resurfacing treatments.

The contract includes a total road length of 9.6km of asphalt resurfacing and 20.9km of reseals across the region.

Works are expected to be carried out from March to June with the contract awarded to Gladstone's Fulton Hogan Industries Pty Ltd.
