Controversial couple from The Block pops into Gladstone
REALITY TV fans will be doing their block when a couple from the 2012 version of The Block pop into Gladstone on Wednesday.
Danielle Wales and Daniel Reilly, known to fans as Dani and Dan, will visit Bunnings Warehouse from 11am-2pm for a DIY for Women session.
The couple was well-known for their passionate arguments on the popular TV show, and had to deal with negativity from viewers surrounding their appearance on the show.
Dan and Dani made no apologies for their win-at-all-cost attitude on The Block, even though it came at the expense of being derided on social networking sites.
In 2012 Dan said viewers should understand their goal was to win the cash prize, not to be the most liked or loved couple on TV.
"I have a one in four chance to win $100,000," he said.
"This could potentially change our lives and set us up for life and I am going to give it my hardest and give it my all.
"The viewer does not have a chance to win this prize."
The couple returned to the show in 2013 on an all-stars series of The Block.
The couple came second in the 2012 series, making $448,000 profit from the sale of their house, behind contestants Brad and Lara, who made $606,000.
