Cold weather isn't over yet for Gladstone
WINTER is not yet over for Gladstone.
This week has been unseasonably warm with minimum temperatures higher than 14 degrees.
Friday and Saturday were the warmest days this month when it hit 26.2 degrees and Saturday didn't drop below 18.1 degrees.
That's compared to a long term July average maximum temperature of 22.9 degrees since 1957.
But despite the warm snap there are a few more chilly days ahead.
The rest of the week will see minimum temperatures dip back to 12 degrees with afternoon winds picking up from the south-east.
The first days of August, this weekend should be sunny with daytime temperatures heading back up to 25 degrees.
