Intruder enters Clinton home, steals handbag

THERE were three reports of burglaries or unlawful entry into a motor vehicle in Clinton on Thursday night.

A handbag was reported stolen from Col Brown Ave.

The culprit entered a property through the back door between 10pm on Thursday and 3.30am on Friday and took the handbag.

A vehicle was unlawfully entered on Wivenhoe Cl between midnight and 7am.

Two vehicles from the same property in Ben Lexcen Ct were also unlawfully entered and rummaged through.

Police were still investigating all reports and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

They also remind residents to secure their property and lock their cars.
