Cheaper circus tickets on sale at health centre

LOVE the circus? Well you're in luck.

The Great Moscow Circus returns to Gladstone this month to celebrate its 50th anniversary tour with some legendary performances up its sleeves.

But wait, there's more. The circus has donated more than 400 tickets to Gladstone Regional Council to distribute to a local non-for-profit organisation.

The tickets are now in the hands of the Gladstone Women's Health Centre and the organisation will be selling the tickets to the public for $20 each.

Centre manager Natashe Fee said she was excited about receiving the tickets.

"All the funds raised from people purchasing tickets will go directly towards our centre," she said.

"Usually a ticket for a gold ringside seat costs $64. We are selling gold ringside, red ringside, blue premium and blue zone tickets, all for $20 each; not a cent more.

"We here at the centre are so grateful for the opportunity that the circus and the council have provided us."

The tickets are all for the 7pm performance on August 27.

To purchase a ticket visit the Women's Health Centre at 9 Derby St, South Gladstone, or phone 4979 1456.
