Chris Hemsworth joins Ghostbusters cast

AUSTRALIAN hunk Chris Hemsworth will appear in the upcoming remake of the classic hollywood film ghostbusters.

He is the first man to join the female star cast, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Director Paul Feig posted a photo of Hemsworth on Twitter to announce the news.

"Our receptionist #whoyougonnacall," he wrote. 

Chris Hemsworth was named People magazine's sexiest man alive in 2014.
