SUNDAY 8AM: TWO-year-old Hope Bunston-Parfitt is being remembered as a kind little girl who her family called their princess and cowgirl.

Hope died after she was hit by a car in the driveway of a Lockyer Valley property on Friday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to the Mount Berryman Rd, Blenheim property just after 4pm but there was nothing that could be done to save her.

Since the tragedy, the community has rallied behind her mother Nicole Bunston and father Ben Parfitt.

Family member Tamara Parfitt started a Go Fund Me page last night which has already raised more than $2000.

"On Friday afternoon, a sweet little princess was taken from this world way too young," she wrote.

"She was the kindest little soul and was the most amazing little girl in the world.

"Sadly, money is tight and we need to raise money for her funeral. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.

"Fly high little cowgirl, we love and miss you so much."

SUNDAY 6AM: IT'S the blink-of-an-eye tragedy that takes seven Australian children a year - and two-year-old Hope Bunston is the latest victim.

The little girl died after she was hit by a car in the driveway of a Lockyer Valley home on Friday afternoon, only weeks after another toddler was killed by a reversing car in Ipswich.

Paramedics were called but nothing could be done to save her.

It is understood police are not expecting to charge anyone over the tragedy.

"My baby is in heaven tonight," Hope's mother Nicole Bunston wrote in a heart wrenching public post.

"Why you had to join the angels, I don't know, but play all night baby, you have no bed time anymore. Pull all the flowers off those beautiful plants up there. I still can't believe you're gone."

The Courier-Mail contacted the Bunston family but they were too distraught to comment.

Hope was living on a property at Blenheim with her mother and father Ben Parfitt, where her mother trains and sells horses. The little girl was an animal lover who was often pictured atop her mother's horses.

Friends and family described them as wonderful parents.
