Chance to unite in condemning domestic violence

Gladstone Regional Council and the Gladstone Women's Health Centre is calling in members of the community to unite in publicly condemning domestic violence at a rally at Apex Park on October 11 at 10am.

Gladstone Mayor Gail Sellers said the council was hosting the rally, in partnership with the centre, to encourage the whole community to take action against domestic and family violence.

"Domestic and family violence is unacceptable behaviour that causes trauma to so many families," she said.

"We should no longer tolerate the silence and ignorance."
