Chance for residents to chat with councillors

RESIDENTS of Yarwun, Many Peaks and Lowmead will have the chance for face-to-face meetings with Gladstone region councillors on Thursday.

The July CouncillorConnect visits will be at the Yarwun Hall, Many Peaks Grand Hotel and Lowmead Hall.

Each visit will feature morning tea and a chat session with councillors at 9.30am, followed by pre-booked 20 minute individual meetings with councillors from 10.15am to noon.

"We value meeting with residents and hearing about what's happening in their townships," Mayor Gail Sellers said.

"These visits are an opportunity for us to get to know what people are thinking and what they seek from us as their elected representatives."

All are welcome to attend morning tea and chat.

To book a meeting phone council's communications and marketing section on 4970 0700 to provide some basic information on the discussion topic.
