Catwalk hopefuls step out

YOUNG aspiring models, make sure you mark today and tomorrow in your diary.

That will be your chance to impress Pam Tamblyn of Tamblyn Models who will be in Gladstone to conduct heats of the 2010 Young Model Discovery.

Ms Tamblyn is well known in the fashion industry as well as being a successful television host.

The success of Tamblyn Models now sees Pam and her manager Sallie travel overseas to Europe and Asia, not only

connecting with international model agencies, but naturally keeping in front of the fashion trends for the Australian new seasons.

For the past two years Ms Tamblyn has been able to pass on styling skills to many people of all ages and sizes with various budgets for fashion.

She will bring her expertise to young Gladstone hopefuls with the first judging heat at 6 o’clock tonight and the second on Saturday at 11am.

The semi-finals will be held on Saturday at 6pm.

Weather permitting, heats will be held in the Library Square; otherwise they will be in the basement theatre at the Entertainment Centre.

The judging is by age category – with junior, intermediate and seniors.

Entry forms are available by calling Kathy Corones on 0437 930 293 and entrants can pay fees on the day.

More information can be found at www.tamblynmodelling.com.au. All proceeds will go towards one of Pam’s favourite charities – the Childhood Cancer Support Group.
