Cash for culture

FOUR Gladstone groups have been successful in securing funding from the State Government's Celebrating Multicultural Queensland Grants Program.

These include $12,000 to Gladstone Multicultural Association for Multicultural Week and Festival Day; Gladstone Regional Council with $5000 for Interfaith Fellowship Package; a $4000 grant for Islamic Society of Gladstone's Eid Celebration and Islamic Open Day; and Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours received $11,000 for Welcome to Gladstone Project.
