Cash and computers stolen during weekend break-ins

CASH, a computer and mobile phone were stolen during a break-in at a Wood St, Barney Point property at the weekend.

The break-in occurred between 10pm on Saturday and 7.30am on Sunday.

A house in Sandpiper Ave, New Auckland also was broken into, with cash and computer gear stolen.

The offence occurred between 10am and 7.20pm on Sunday.

A boat moored in Gladstone Harbour was broken into between January 13 and Sunday, with a portable fridge and fishing gear stolen.

In other police news, a 40-year-old woman will face court charged with drink driving.

Gladstone police intercepted the woman on Upton Rd, Beecher at 12.05am on Monday. She allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.128.

Police also intercepted a 41-year-old man on Palm Dr, Gladstone at 8.50pm on Sunday. He allegedly had a BAC of 0.096.

And a Holden Colorado ute was stolen from Oaka Lane, Gladstone between 3.30pm and 9pm on Sunday.
