TRISTAN Bancks, Peter Carnavas, Sarah Davis, Anna Fienberg, Narelle Oliver and James Roy are among the authors and illustrators booked for this year's Curtis Coast Literary Carnivale.

The carnivale has released details of its sixth biennial program, which will run from July 27-30.

July 27 will feature the Write On! Writing and Illustrating Workshops for Adults, which will also include additional workshops for teenagers.

This will be followed by a literary dinner.

Presenters will then deliver more than 50 school sessions from July 28-30 at CQUniversity and schools in Tannum Sands and Calliope.

The Picture Book Art of Peter Carnavas, Sarah Davies and Narelle Oliver, an illustrators' exhibition curated for the Curtis Coast Literary Carnivale by the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum, will be on display from July 28.

Also featuring at this year's event will be the Net a Story: Book Trailers Project and A Celebration of Manga and Anime in conjunction with the Saiki sister city partnership, which will be launched at the opening of Gladstone's Multicultural Week on July 25 and viewed by students who attend sessions at CQU.

Bookings for the carnivale open on April 22.
