Car stolen at knifepoint near Natural Bridge

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Natural Bridge last night.

Around 11.30pm, a man and a woman were returning to their car that was parked in a carpark on Nerang-Murwilumbah Road when they were approached by two men.

One of the men produced a knife and demanded the keys to their vehicle.

The man and the woman complied, and the two men got into the car and drove off.

No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

The men were last seen driving in a white Mazda hatchback.

Investigations are continuing.
