UPDATE MONDAY: A car full of people rolled over in a crash on Saturday but they all walked away with only minor injuries.

The five people turned onto the north bound lane of the Bruce Hwy from Old Tannum Sands Rd when their red Toyota Rav4 and a Mitsubishi Magna heading south collided.

The driver of the Mitsubishi and everyone in the Toyota were able to get out of their vehicles with only minor knocks to the head and shock.

A passenger of the Toyota, with a slight cut under his eye, said it could have been worse.

Emergency services were called to the crash about noon.Two ambulances tended to the people who had been in the crash.

Firefighters analysed the vehicles to check for leaks while police officers controlled traffic.

Later in the afternoon Mount Larcom Rd was closed for more than an hour after a two vehicle crash.

Police were called to the crash at 4.30pm and fire crews were required to remove oil off the road.

A woman reportedly received an injury to her head and oil was coming from her car.

She was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The five people inside the Toyota walked away from the accident after the car rolled over. 

Three of the passengers had minor head injuries and the driver of the Mitsubishi suffered minor injuries.
