Capras gunning for two straight

Capras Call

After two straight losses it was great to get a victory over the high-flying Burleigh Bears last week down at Pizzey Park.

We had been bitterly disappointed in our performances against the Sunshine Coast and Easts Tigers and a third straight loss would have severely dented our confidence.

However, the players showed some great character and self-belief to overcome the Bears and play some of their best footy of the season so far.

The challenge is to gain some consistency in our performances and string some wins together over the next few weeks.

Tonight we play the Souths Logan Magpies at Webb Park in Yeppoon and we are expecting an enormous crowd to support us there.

The Yeppoon Seagulls have been very active in the community to promote this game.

They have formed a partnership with the Yeppoon Turf Club to offer racegoers from Yeppoon Cup Day half-price entry into the ground to watch the Capras.

This should ensure a massive turn-out for a great day of racing and rugby league.

It would be great to get another victory up for our supporters out on the Coast!
