THE Gladstone 8-Ball C Grade team has finished the first day of the Central Queensland Zone Championships with three wins from three matches.

The team won all of their matches comfortably to be the best placed team from the host association.

The final round of matches for the team was postponed to Sunday morning, meaning if they are to make the final it will be a long day by the time they play the grand final, scheduled for 6pm.

The team is made up of Chris Lethaus, Karauna Baker, Kiran Wallace, Tim Work and Errol Long.

The other teams have had mixed results and all still have a chance to make the finals.
