Burst main affects water supply in Calliope

UPDATE NOON: Gladstone Regional Council has reported that water service has been restored at Calliope and West Gladstone.

However, another unplanned water interruption has just been announced, affecting Gladstone St in Mt Larcom.

9.10AM: Gladstone Regional Council officers are dealing with a number of  issues this morning that are affecting the water supply in Calliope and West Gladstone.

There is a burst water main on Drynan Drive, Calliope.

The council says it may cause interruptions to the water supply in that area, particularly in Beatle Parade, Capricornia Drive and Elliot Drive.

Council officers are currently dealing with the problem and will reinstate services as soon as possible.

There also is an unplanned water interruption on Scenery St, West Gladstone, between Tank and Fowler Sts.

The problem is expected to be fixed within two hours.
