Burglars and thieves make their way around Gladstone

THERE were six reported thefts and burglaries in Gladstone in the past week, including one in a school.

Unknown people attempted to under the school address in Clinton outside of school hours.

Nothing was stolen from the school; as an alarm scared off the offenders.

A dirt bike with Queensland registration 350SXF was stolen from New Auckland.

The offenders gained entry through a side gate and cut a chain around the rear tyre of the orange bike.

There were also three thefts from vehicles including one on Oaka Lane where the offenders smashed the passenger's side window of a car and took a fire blanket kit Fire Blanket Kid and two bags of crockery.
