Bruce Highway smash

EMERGENCY services are attending to a two-car accident on the Bruce Hwy in Benaraby this morning.

It's believed the ute and sedan collided around 5.30am.

A 55-year old man and 25-year old man were involved in the accident.

The highway remains open, with the cars moved to the side of the road.

It's believed one of the men was taken to Gladstone Base Hospital with minor injuries.

Gladstone Police and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service are still at the scene.

This is the second car accident along the Bruce Highway in two days.

On Monday a 19-year old Gladstone woman was killed when her car collided with a prime mover.
