Roosters' wings clipped as rivals cruise to easy victory

BROTHERS have proven just how far the club has progressed in a short space of time, dominating proceedings against Calliope on Saturday night to jump to first on the ladder on points difference.

Finishing fourth last season and eliminated immediately, Brothers this year have suffered just one defeat, a narrow two-point loss to Tannum Sands.

Overall, the competition has become a lot closer through the first quarter of the draw with three sides split by points difference.

Under the control of Steve Southern, the Brothers outfit has shown the most improved line-up, while Wallabys and Valleys have been able to remain on pace.

Results:

U18 - Brothers 64 def Calliope 0

Reserves - Brothers 32 def Calliope 22

A Grade - Brothers 42 def Calliope 16

A Grade Ladder: Brothers - 5pts, Valleys - 5pts, Wallabys - 5pts, Calliope - 3pts, Tannum Sands - 2pts
