Man 'devastated' after seeing room mate shot by police
A MAN has been left "pretty devastated" after his room mate was shot dead by police, saying he "saw it happen".
Adam Sant said police came into his room about 12.50pm on Tuesday and woke him up, asking to see his room mate of two months.
Police were called to the home on Elizabeth Avenue in Kippa Ring about midnight, after receiving several hoax calls.
"I told them I could go and get him for them and they were like 'yep, that's fine'," Adam told Fairfax Radio 4BC.
"So I went and knocked on his door and got him up and he opened the door and I said 'the police are here for you' and something happened then.''
Formal investigation launched into shooting
