Scrub Creek bridge will remain closed for work

SCRUB Creek Bridge on Mt Larcom-Bracewell Road will not reopen today as previously planned.

Restoration work on the bridge which had started on November 10 has been delayed because of the discovery of further structural issues, according to Gladstone Regional Council.

Motorists and residents at the northern end of the Gladstone region who travel via Scrub Creek Bridge will be required to continue using Cedarvale Loop Road as an alternative route for the duration of the project, an estimated six additional kilometres.
