11-year-old girl hospitalised after horse fall

UPDATE (3.05PM): 

The 11-year-old girl was transported to Gladstone Base Hospital with back pain in a stable condition following her fall from a horse in Calliope this morning.

INITIAL (12PM):

Queensland Ambulance Service Paramedics are on route to an incident involving an 11-year-old girl who fell from a horse in Calliope this morning.

The girl is believed to have fallen from the horse while riding it just off Racecourse Rd and sustained a suspected back injury.

The severity of her injuries is unclear along with how she came to fall from the horse.
