Police will allege they were involved in a burglary in Gladstone on July 28 where $2000 worth of property was stolen including a credit card.

It will also be alleged that they used the credit card for the past month and a half, racking up another couple thousand dollars worth of debt on dining out, clothing and electronics.

Gladstone Criminal Investigation Branch acting detective senior sergeant Chris Lindsay said police found tainted property and cannabis during the searches today.

"Closed circuit television from many businesses assisted us with identifying them," he said.

The pair is expected to receive bail this afternoon and appear in court on October 11.
