State of the art McDonald's at Boyne set to open in October

WHEN Nathan Patrick informed McDonald's he wanted to be based in a nice place for his family and kids to grow up, he was unaware of just how nice Boyne Island and Tannum Sands was.

"It has been 18 months since I told McDonald's I wanted a place where there is lots of growth," the future Boyne Island McDonald's owner said.

"After one quick visit to the area, we gratefully accepted the offer."

With an expected completion date around October, Mr Patrick is excited for McDonald's to offer the community a family-friendly hub.

"We want to offer a place where people want to come and meet, relax, enjoy, work and play," he said.

The Party Room and Playland, in particular, are set to be some of the key features.

And the Boyne restaurant will be the first store in Australia to have a new range of stylish uniforms.

The business will also create more than 100 new jobs for the Boyne, Tannum community.

Features for the Boyne Island McDonald's

  • State-of-the-art restaurant design and interior.
  • Huge al fresco dining area.
  • Private meeting room with Foxtel and digital capabilities.
  • Exciting new Castle-themed Playland featuring Lucy the Dragon, cable bridge, large sweeping slide and toddlers area.
  • Kids party room.
