Bowditch in top 25 again

PEREGIAN Beach golfer Steven Bowditch has snapped a two-month lean streak on the US PGA Tour.

After missing the cut in his previous three tournaments, Bowditch finished in a tie for 23rd place at the lucrative Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.

The 28-year-old carded a bogey-free final-round score of three-under par 68 to finish the $4.4million Nevada tournament on 14-under par.

It's the fifth time in 25 events, since making his return to the Tour, that Bowditch has finished among the top 25.

He finished two strokes adrift of a top-10 finish and nine shots off the pace of victor Kevin Na.
