Technology joins nature in launch of app at Botanic Gardens

TECHNOLOGY and nature will now come together at the Tondoon Botanic Gardens with the long awaited launch of an interactive app.

Mayor Gail Sellers officially launched The Hidden Park yesterday of parents and children.

About 20 eager youngsters turned up with smart phones in hand to have a crack at the interactive adventure game.

The adventure style game allows children to explore the gardens while completing a range of challenges.

Tondoon Botanic Gardens visitor services manager Donna Hann said there was plenty of excitement surrounding the launch.

The app can be downloaded from the apple app store and the starting point is located near the visitor centre stairs.
