LNG bosses from London visit Quoin Island turtle centre

QUOIN Island Turtle Rehabilitation Centre welcomed the heads of Australia Pacific LNG from London this week who were keen to see what they were spending their money on.

APLNG donated $70,000 to the centre last year and have matched that amount again in 2014.

Quoin Island event manager Richard Gilmour said the visitors toured the island and met the local wildlife.

"They spent some time at turtle rehabilitation centre and enjoyed seeing what we do," he said.

"We received another big turtle on Saturday, called Amber, who is over 60kg ... so (there's) lots of mouths to feed.

Donations are welcome as the centre is at capacity at the moment.
