Boat ramp bandits

POLICE are urging the public to secure vehicles and refrain from leaving valuables in the car following a spate of break and enters at local boat ramps.

Six vehicles left parked at the Phillipies Landing Rd boat ramp at Targinnie were broken into on Saturday and one on Friday.

A quantity of property, including GPS devices and wallets, were stolen by offenders who smashed windows of the vehicles to gain entry.
