Bike in custody: do you know who owns it?

POLICE officers from Kingaroy have responded to a variety of incidents last week.

Police also had 11 calls related to domestic violence incidents, issued 21 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences, and performed 46 Roadside Breath Tests.

On Wednesday at 1.50pm police were on patrol on Glendon St when they allegedly saw an 18-year-old Cherbourg man riding a push-bike.

The man allegedly ran from police but was stopped at the rear of a Haly St licensed premises, before dropping the bike and running through the hotel.

Police allegedly found him hiding in the carpark of a business on Haly St.

Police said the young man was carrying drug utensils and a mobile phone.

The Cherbourg man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 7 charged with possessing tainted property, receiving tainted property, fail to dispose of a syringe, obstructing police, and failing to wear a bicycle helmet.

Police are trying to find the owner of the alleged stolen bicycle.
