The competition will be held at Meteors headquarters on Glenlyon Rd and you don't have to be a current club member to play.

Social player registration is available through the MyFootballClub website where you can purchase a $15 social registration which will cover carnival costs.

Organiser Jean Van Vegchel said the tournament was open to players across Central Queensland.

"We're trying to host a carnival in Gladstone because normally you have to travel to Rockhampton, Mackay or even Brisbane. This is just a stepping stone to see how it goes,” she said.

Team nomination fees are $250 and forms are available by emailing meteorsfcsecretary@gmail.com or visiting the Meteors FC 7 Aside Carnival page on Facebook.
