Firies rush to 'big fire' burning in the region

UPDATE:

A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire Services said the fire burning on Gorge Rd at Rosedale is large and moving in multiple directions.

It's understood firies have already saved one house and stopped the fire reaching another house.

The original fire crew has now been joined by other crews, with four fire trucks currently in use and battling the blaze.

Another crew is on its way and a water tanker and bulldozer has been issued from Gladstone.
