Big challenge for Mudcrabs

We are taking on Glenmore Bulls and it will also be our first trip up to Rockhampton for the season.

We are coming off a big win against Brothers, but I was far from impressed about our game in the first half.

If we are to walk away with the points this afternoon, we will need a much better start to the game against a stronger opponent.

Unfortunately we have a few outs due to injuries and other reasons, but this will give guys who have been playing consistent footy in the reserves a chance to step up and cement a spot in the senior side.

Last year, we had hard contests against Glenmore and I'll be expecting the same again today.

Glenmore look like they are playing good footy at the moment with their only loss being against the undefeated Yeppoon Swans.

We will need to go in focused and ready from the start and hopefully come the end of the game, we will have walked away with the points.

On another note, all grades are still looking for players from 13's though to the ladies and the senior ranks.

So if you've played before or looking to come have a look, hit up the Gladstone Senior Mudcrabs AFL Facebook page or contact me direct on 0448833537 and I'll give you more details.
