THE Variety Old Bags Lunch was a success on Saturday with more than 100 guests attending.

Bags lined the walls of the Harvey Road Tavern function room as lunch goers bid in secrecy.

Secret auction winner Karen Beltrame spent $2000 on a two-day bush experience.

"It sounded exciting and something I wouldn't do," she said.

"I wanted to donate money, but I didn't think I'd be contributing that much.

"It's nice to give back and make a difference."
