Bride to be's best catch of the day

SHAYLEA Sheridan got more than she bargained for when she and fiancé Reece Primrose rocked up to the Wedding Expo.

Ms Sheridan caught a flying bouquet that won her a two night escape on Heron Island.

But she's not taking Reece .

"We originally came to book our wedding accommodation at the Mecure in Yeppoon for next January," she said.

"My fiancé is going camping for his buck's night so now that I've won I'm going to take my maid of honour for a couple of nights away."

The wedding is still more than seven months away but already she's got everything sorted.

"From today I've the reception organised, hair and makeup ideas and flowers done," she said.

"I'm feeling very accomplished."

Shaylea and Reece have been engaged for just six weeks but they will have been together for five years on their wedding day.

When we asked about Reece's absence yesterday Shaylea said he was next door "getting on the piss".

"It's all a bit much (for him). I mean there's one man to every six women here," she laughed.
