Below average temperatures hit Gladstone again

GLADSTONE is set to experience more days of below average temperatures as the mercury drops once again.

The overnight low in Gladstone this morning was 10.4 degrees, which is about two degrees below the long-term August average.

The minimum temperature on Thursday is forecast to be eight degrees, followed by six degrees on Friday.

Saturday will be another chilly morning with 10, before we get back to average from Sunday.

The days will warm up to be sunny with maximum temperatures of 21-22 degrees.

The lowest August temperature on record is 3.5 degrees, recorded on August 1, 2003.
