Bellamy unsure on Cronk's future

MELBOURNE Storm coach Craig Bellamy says superstar halfback Cooper Cronk has not spoken to him about his future.

Reports out of Sydney on the weekend said Cronk could quit the Storm and move north of the border to join his girlfriend, Fox Sports presenter Tara Rushton.

Cronk is contracted until the end of the 2018 NRL season.

The Daily Telegraph reported Cronk had informed Bellamy of his desire to move to the Harbour City.

"I don't know anything about that. I haven't spoken to Cooper about it," Bellamy said.

"I didn't know actually (about Sunday's story) until yesterday so at the end of the day I'd imagine if Cooper has got something to tell me he'd come and tell me when he's ready."

But Bellamy stopped short of guaranteeing Cronk's future.

The 33-year-old premiership hero has played 302 games in purple since 2004.

"At the end of the day everybody's got to do what they got to do ... if there is any fact about it, or any truth about it, well at the end of the day he's done a wonderful job for this club for a long period of time.

"So what he would like to do I'd imagine that's what he'll do and it will be with the club's blessing, but he hasn't spoken to me about it.

"We're not concerned about that at the moment."
