Flying in, flying out to take care of eyelashes

BELLA Gardner takes pride in leading a healthy lifestyle.

The 27-year-old goes for a 3km run every morning and has a well-balanced diet.

Between keeping fit for her part-time modelling career, she also runs an eyelash extension business in Byron Bay, which has her travelling to Gladstone for a week once a month.

Running the business from the Oaks Grand Gladstone, her fly-in fly-out job is unique.

Her decision to make a trip to Gladstone once a month was persuaded by her social media followers, and some friends who were born and bred Gladstone residents.

"I'd never heard of Gladstone before!" she said.

Although she has not seen much outside her hotel room, so far she has been impressed by local restaurants.

"I'm addicted to Rocksalt's haloumi salad," she said.

"Sometimes I start at 7am and finish at 9 at night - so I don't do much other than work in Gladstone."

Ms Gardner's modelling career has taken off this year.

Next month she will release a swimwear calendar featuring Byron Bay designers, and she was published in a magazine in Spain last month.

"I just love giving a positive image to girls to stay fit, feel good and look great with natural therapies," she said.

Ms Gardner grew up in Caloundra and moved to Byron Bay five years ago.

She enjoys the beach lifestyle and small community.
