Bedroom furniture missing after bizarre theft

A COAST property owner is offering a reward for any clues that could solve a bedroom theft.

Kimberley Sheedy's Yaroomba home was robbed, but the thieves had a very specific target in mind.

"Someone came into my home and helped themselves to my bedroom furniture," she said.

"The person that stole these items was very sneaky in moving items from my living area to replace the items in my bedroom."

They took two bedside tables and lamps, a linen end-of-bed console, a wall carving and bathroom items.

Ms Sheedy has been left puzzled by the bizarre theft.

"This is not someone who just wanted to steal items in my house as (the) TV, coffee machine, speakers etc. were all not taken," she told the Daily.

Ms Sheedy said she occasionally rented her home to holiday makers through a reputable agent, and there was no sign of how the thieves got inside.

"It is very unnerving," she said.

"People can be so sneaky and obviously someone really liked my furniture.

"This was well-planned."

Ms Sheedy is offering a reward for anyone who has information about the theft or who can help her get her furniture back.
