Residents warned, be vigilant and lock your home

POLICE are reminding residents to lock their houses, even when they are home, after a break-in at the weekend.

Between 9.30-11pm on Saturday, a wallet was taken from a Clinton home on Columbia Ave while the owners were home.

Gladstone police said it was best practice to lock the end of your house you aren't occupying to ensure no one slips in and takes your belongings.

Residents can also download the Emergency Plus app - owned by NSW Fire and emergency - for the best information on contact numbers for emergency services, location services including your own GPS coordinates and more.
