Backing for Coast mum as search for daughter, 4, continues

TENS of thousands of social media watchers have stood behind a Sunshine Coast mother who is desperately seeking answers over her missing four-year-old daughter and former partner.

Greg Hutchings, 35, and daughter Eeva Dorendahl, pictured, vanished on Saturday and were last seen about lunchtime.

Mr Hutchings was supposed to meet Eeva's mother, Michelle Dorendahl to hand her over in the New South Wales town of Pottsville.

The pair is believed to have ended their relationship more than 12 months ago and had successfully exchanged Eeva between them in the past. When they failed to show, police initiated the search for the missing pair.

The large-scale search entered its third day yesterday, with 20 SES workers searching beach land at Pottsville.

It is believed they do not have access to a car, and serious concerns are held.
