Asian Cup: Bicycle kick from Tim Cahill pure magic

TIM Cahill has added another chapter to his unbelievable Socceroos story with two of the best goals ever seen on Australian soil in a 2-0 Asian Cup quarter-final win over China at Suncorp Stadium last night.

Cahill scored two second-half goals, the first an overhead kick, the second a trademark header as the Socceroos finally wore down a stubborn Chinese outfit which frustrated the home team for long periods.

The Socceroos had a number of other chances after the break but a combination of some great goalkeeping from Wang Dalei and poor finishing kept China in the game.

Cahill was in great form after the game too, saying he and the team had more to come ahead of the semi-final in Newcastle against either Japan or the United Arab Emirates.

"We are here to make an impact and that's what we intend to do," he said.

"It's all about writing your own script and I am going to keep on doing it.

"When you get your chance, you have to take it and I did twice tonight."
