THE MUSIC will be pumping, the pool balls will be clicking and the novelty beer goggles will have the room spinning as the underage rage gets pumping at the Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) this Friday night at 7pm.

The PCYC will be the hot spot in town for youths aged 12 to 17 to enjoy a night of fun games and dancing in a supervised atmosphere.

Gladstone Police Senior Constable Jane Doran said this was the first disco for this age group for quite some time.

'It's a chance to allow this age group to have a fun filled activity here in town,' she said.

'There will be a variety of mixed activities to cater for all needs ? activities such as a pool competition, mock-tails (alcohol free cocktails), and beer goggle challenges, while there will also be a guest DJ providing the music for the disco lit night,' she said.

Jane said there would also be a transport bus available for kids.

'I am encouraging parents to book the child's seat in early, we will pick them up and drop them home,' she said.

She said the drug and alcohol free event would have food and non-alcoholic drinks available.

For bus bookings phone the PCYC on 4972 3122.
