STRAPLESS dresses in bright colours or black and white were the fashion at this year's Too- looa State High School prom on Friday night.

According to Year 12 student Dave Connolly, the girls 'scrubbed up nicely' for the event, and the boys made a good effort as well.

'Everyone looked really nice, and the girls looked good in their dresses,' Dave said.

Year 12 coordinator Simon Done, who was the Master of Ceremonies, said the night went off without a hitch, with stu- dents being well-behaved and enjoying the evening.

'They all had a great time and were up on the dance floor showing their moves,' Mr Done said.

Senior student Dave Connolly said after'"a thousand photos' the students made their way into the hall, where they were entertained by some 'lousy jokes' from Mr Done, before 'having a feed' and then hitting the dance floor.

'Everyone had a top night ? even the teachers got up and mingled with us on the dance- floor,' Dave said.

He said the girls looked 'real- ly good' and even the blokes scrubbed up all right, continu- ing their celebrations into the early hours of Saturday morn- ing at an after-prom party at one student's house.
