School lives begin

SCHOOL holds no fears for young Harrison Jenner ? he is dead keen to front up for his first day at school today.
Harrison, pictured left, who was five on New Year's Eve, will be one of thousands of children going to school today.
"He's been asking how many more sleeps for school ever since he finished pre-school last year,'' said his mother, Tina, yesterday.
There was one concern for Mrs Jenner and her son when it looked likely Harrison would have to go to Kin Kora State School without a school uniform.
The uniforms, although ordered some time ago, had not arrived.
"I was concerned that Harrison would have to go to school dressed differently to the other kids and that he would feel out of place.''
"But he was lucky that he is a size six because they came in on Saturday morning, although some size eight children have missed out.''
However, Harrison was not worried about that yesterday. He was just looking forward to catching up with his mates from pre-school.
As for schoolwork, well, he likes books and was hoping to be able to learn to read Over in the Meadow, and the Big Blue House at school.
